AdamsWein, Grauburgunder Ingelheim, 2024 [Pre-Arrival ETA 7/15]

Grauburgunder is Pinot Gris, and in Simone Adams's hands it is a world away from the watery stuff the name usually conjures. Grown on the limestone-rich soils of Ingelheim in northern Rheinhessen and farmed biodynamically, this is a textural, food-friendly white with real cut. Adams works with native yeasts and minimal intervention, so it comes across as clean and honest rather than fussy. An easy, versatile bottle for the table.
