This is a single-vineyard Riesling from Rosengartl, a storied site on the Nussberg hill above the Danube, and it shows just how age-worthy and precise Viennese wine can be. Jutta Ambrositsch is among the city's most respected natural growers, farming organically and working with native yeasts and minimal sulfur. "Utopie" is her serious, terroir-driven Riesling, built on the mix of soils that make the Nussberg so special. Linear, complex, and a world away from casual Viennese whites.
