Négociant Meursault from one of Burgundy's most respected young winemakers. Benjamin Leroux (born 1975 in Beaune) was named technical director at Domaine Comte Armand at age 24, staying 15 vintages. Started his own operation in 2007 while still at Comte Armand; departed in 2014. Now based in Beaune with approximately 30 hectares under management—8 hectares estate, farmed organically and biodynamically (certified organic 2016). Around 50 cuvées from Bourgogne to Grand Cru. When asked who might succeed Henri Jayer, his name was cited.
