Channing Daughters is a winery in Bridgehampton on Long Island's South Fork. Walter Channing purchased the land in 1979 and planted the first vines in 1982—the first Chardonnay in the Bridgehampton area. Winemaker Christopher Tracy joined in 2001 and has become known for experimental winemaking. The winery farms 28 acres and was a founding member of Long Island Sustainable Winegrowing (LISW) in 2012—the first third-party sustainable certification on the U.S. East Coast. Due Uve means "two grapes" in Italian. The 2023 is 71% Blaufränkisch from Sylvanus Vineyard (Bridgehampton) and 29% Syrah from Mudd West Vineyard (North Fork). Production: 218 cases.
