A village-level Pinot Noir that punches above its classification, the Aux Etelois holds a unique position bordering the Grand Cru Griotte-Chambertin. For the first time, this 2023 was matured half in ceramic egg and half in traditional oak—a thoughtful experiment reflecting Pierre Duroché's commitment to continuous refinement. The wine bursts with aromas of sweet cherries, berries, rose petals, and exotic spices, with confit orange notes lingering. Medium to full-bodied yet velvety, with melting tannins, it's seamless and enveloping, ethereal in its purity.
