Inves, Las Setas, 2023
A field blend from Portugal's remote northeast. Las Setas comes from a single vineyard in the Arribas sub-region of Tras-os-Montes—one of Portugal's highest, most isolated mountain areas near the Spanish border. The centenarian bush vines are planted in the traditional mixed style: roughly 60% red grapes (Bastardo, Tinta Gorda) and 40% white (Malvasia), all co-fermented together. The result looks red but drinks with the freshness of white—light, juicy, vibrant, floral. A window into old Portugal, made with minimal intervention.
