Love You Bunches is Stolpman's joyful, carbonic-fermented red from Ballard Canyon, where rare limestone outcroppings and Pacific breezes create an unlikely terroir for the Tuscan grape in Santa Barbara County. The 2023 vintage pushed growers to their limits: record rainfall, a cold spring that halved fruit set, and the latest harvest on record, with the last grapes picked in November. But the surviving fruit was extraordinary, and the carbonic method—whole clusters sealed in tank, fermenting from the inside out—delivers an explosion of pomegranate, rose, and peppery plum with a taut, razor-sharp finish.
