Grown biodynamically on pure coral-limestone soils at high elevation, this Grosse STK Lage bottling is fermented with native yeasts and aged in large neutral oak barrels for nuance without distraction.
The 2021 vintage is cool and focused—layered but taut, with aromas of lemon zest, crushed oyster shell, and white flowers. The palate is precise and textural, unfolding slowly into notes of green apple, hazelnut, and saline minerality. There's real tension here—no excess weight, just depth through restraint.
