The Trios is the estate-grown gateway: classic Moon Mountain Cab from steep, rocky vineyards farmed at altitude, where cooler nights and stressed vines give wines built more on structure and tension than flash. 2023 was a near-perfect growing season in Sonoma — long, cool, even — and the result here is a Cab of real balance: pure red and black fruit, mineral and garrigue notes, polished French oak, and the fresh acidity that high-elevation sites deliver. Approachable now with a few hours of air, with the bones to develop nicely over the next decade.
