Wisdom is B. Wise's red-blend showcase — a Cabernet-led cuvée drawn from Brion Wise's high-elevation vineyards on Moon Mountain, the volcanic ridge above Sonoma Valley that gives California Cab some of its most structured wines. The 2021 vintage was a small, concentrated one across Sonoma, and the wine reflects it: dark fruit threaded with spice and savory edges, supple tannins, and the kind of warm, lifted aromatic frame that makes high-elevation Sonoma Cab so distinctive. Four years on, the wine is in a generous early-drinking window — polished oak well-integrated, fruit still bright — with the structure to hold and develop for another decade. A serious Moon Mountain red from one of the appellation's quietly excellent producers.
