The Maus Vineyard sits at high elevation on iron-rich volcanic soils, where thick-skinned grapes develop concentrated color and flavor from extended hang time above the fog line. The 2021 vintage—one of the driest on record in Sonoma—produced beautifully balanced fruit with bright acidity and fine-grained tannins despite late-summer heat.
