Bonnet Cotton, Beaujolais "Bas Les Masques", 2024

Pierre Cotton reclaimed a hectare of family vines in Beaujolais in 2014, and with partner Marine Bonnet now alongside him, the domaine makes some of the region's most electric, honest Gamay. Everything is farmed organically and vinified with native yeasts in concrete, with barely any sulfur, then aged in century-old foudres—true low-intervention winemaking. "Bas Les Masques" ("masks off") is the playful house cuvée, a juicy, unfiltered entry-level Beaujolais that captures everything fun about this address. The fresh 2024 is built for pure, glug-able pleasure.
