Mario Fontana formalized the estate in 1995 with his mother Elda, wife Luisa, and sons Edoardo and Vasco. 4-5 hectares of Nebbiolo from three crus: Villero (Castiglione Falletto), Valletti/Mariondino (Castiglione Falletto), and Gallinotto/Giachini (La Morra). Fermented 15-20 days in stainless steel, aged 2 years in 25-27 hectoliter Slavonian oak botti, then a year in cement and another in bottle. Traditional blending philosophy—the sum of parts expressing consistent terroir.
