Château Cartier is the second wine of Château Fonroque, a certified biodynamic Grand Cru in Saint-Émilion under the Moueix family since 1931. Vines grow on classic clay-limestone soils.
The 2022 blends mostly Merlot with some Cabernet Franc. Fermented in concrete and aged partly in new oak, it offers polished structure, mineral depth, and refined balance typical of well-made second labels.
