Domaine de Chevillard, Jacquere, 2022

Domaine de Chevillard, a ~6-hectare organic vineyard in Savoie's Combe de Savoie Valley, has been managed by Matthieu Goury since transitioning to organic (2017) and biodynamic practices (2020). Jacquère, a variety specific to Savoie, finds elegant expression in this light, refreshing style. Manual harvests and low-intervention vinification preserve the wine's delicate character. Alpine location and careful farming create distinctive minerality and salinity that makes this wine perfect for mountain cuisine and shellfish pairings.
