Domaine de Saint Pierre, Trousseau, 2024

Trousseau is the Jura's answer to the question "what if a red wine could be as pretty as it is savory?" Fabrice Dodane's straight Arbois Trousseau is all wild strawberry and spice, light on its feet but with a whisper of Jura earth underneath. It's fermented on the skins for just a few days, finished in old barrels, and bottled with no fining, no filtration and no added sulfur — pure fruit, pure place. Serve it with a slight chill and it turns almost weightless.
