Founded in 1942 by Desire Rolet and now run by his children, Rolet farms around 65 hectares across the appellation — a benchmark name for the region. The Tradition Rouge braids together the three classic Jura red grapes — Poulsard, Trousseau, and Pinot Noir — from red marls, sandstones, and gravels around Arbois and Montigny-les-Arsures. Light in color, fragrant with violets and red berries, gently tannic and lifted by the wild-strawberry crunch of Poulsard. This is Jura red as it was meant to be poured: bright, food-loving, transparent to place.
