Founded 1930 by Francis Egly; current Francis Egly (4th generation) took over in the 1980s. 21 hectares total, 10 hectares across Grand Cru villages: Ambonnay, Bouzy (0.3 ha), Verzenay (1.7 ha). This millésime: 70% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay. Complete fermentation in wood with malolactic deliberately blocked. Minimum 48 months on fine lees. Practices organic and biodynamic viticulture but has not pursued formal certification.
