The texture here is seamless, smooth, and fluid without lacking freshness. Typical Oloroso notes of chocolate, roasted hazelnuts, spiced almonds, smoke, sun-kissed figs, orange slices, with a toasty wood and caramel finish (though not sweet at all), ooze out of the glass and flow across your palate.

Emilio Lustau started the solera commemorate the visit of Eugenia de Montijo, the last Empress of France back in 1921. The average age of the wine is 15 years, shorter aging allows for more grace and accessibility, perfect for those ready to dip their toe into the Oloroso style.
