Filipa Pato, Bairrada Tinto "Dinamica", 2025

The red counterpart to Filipa Pato's "Dinamica" white, built around Baga, Bairrada's proud and sometimes prickly native grape. In Filipa's hands it comes out fresh and lifted rather than tannic and brooding, the early-drinking, fun side of a serious family's playbook. Limestone soils, organic and biodynamic farming, native ferments, and a light touch in the cellar keep it transparent and lively. Cold Atlantic winds give it a cool-climate snap you don't always expect from Portugal. Chill it down a touch and it really sings. Honest, characterful, and priced like a discovery.
