Joseph Macari Sr. purchased this former potato farm in the mid-1960s; son Joseph Jr. and wife Alexandra established the vineyard in 1996. Third-generation farming family. Joseph Jr. studied biodynamic viticulture with Alan York (California) and Alvaro Espinoza (Chile)—holistic management with cattle and composting for over 30 years. Mattituck, North Fork.
