High in the hills above San Gimignano, Elisabetta Fagiuoli has spent decades championing Vernaccia, Tuscany's great native white, through organic farming and an unhurried, hands-off approach. Fiore is her purest expression: made entirely from free-run juice with no skin contact, fermented and aged at length on the lees in stainless steel. That gentle handling makes it the lightest and most delicate of her Vernaccia bottlings, all clarity and lift. It's a beautiful reminder that this grape, often dismissed, can make serious, mineral-driven white wine when someone cares enough.
