Pajè is among Barbaresco's most revered crus, and Roagna's bottling ranks among its finest expressions. This fifth-generation estate has farmed organically since 2004, using traditional methods—large Slavonian oak, extended maceration—that require decades of patience but reward with profound complexity. The Pajè vineyard in Barbaresco commune delivers wines of remarkable power and perfume: rose petal, tar, wild cherry, and an almost ethereal tannin structure. The 2020 needs time—best from 2030 onward—but promises extraordinary evolution. One of Italy's great collectible wines.
