Sadie Family Wines, Rotsbank, 2024

Rotsbank is Chenin Blanc from a shallow, rocky vineyard on Paardeberg’s Aprilskloof, where vines dig deep into granite. Whole-bunch pressed and aged 12 months on lees in old foudres, the wine is bottled with minimal sulfur to preserve site transparency.

The 2024 shows classic granitic austerity—tight, linear, and quietly powerful. It’s a newer addition to Sadie’s lineup but already stands out for its focus and mineral depth.
