Magnum format of Boudignon's most personal wine. The Anjou Blanc À Françoise is named for his late mother Françoise and his father François; he only releases it in vintages he feels honor them. The 2023 comes from his oldest Chenin Blanc vines (around 40 years) planted on shallow schist, rhyolite and sand, and is aged the extra two years that have become standard for this cuvée since 2021. In magnum, the slower oxygen exchange amplifies everything Boudignon does best — chalk, salted citrus, white peach, honeysuckle — and stretches the aging arc by years. A serious bottle for a serious table.
