Baden Pinot Blanc from two former Burgundy cellar hands. Christoph Wolber and Alexander Götze established Wasenhaus in 2016 after working at Pierre Morey, Domaine de Montille, Vougeraie, and Comte Armand. Möhlin vineyard: 1950s plantings on very steep, shallow limestone terraces above the Möhlin creek, southeastern exposure. Primarily Pinot Blanc with some Chardonnay and Chasselas mixed in. Whole-cluster pressed with basket press, aged in neutral barrels. Organic farming with biodynamic elements, not formally certified.
