Wild Common, Reposado Tequila, NV

Wild Common is part of the new generation of premium tequilas putting transparency, purity, and craft front and center. Distilled at NOM 1123 (La Cofradía) by the talented Salvador “Chava” Rosales Trejo, this Reposado starts with estate-grown Blue Weber agave from the Jalisco Highlands, slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens and double-distilled without diffusers or additives.

What sets it apart is balance: it’s rested just long enough in used American oak barrels (about 3–4 months) to round out the edges of the agave without masking it. The result? A nose of baked agave, roasted pineapple, vanilla bean, and cinnamon, with a palate that’s silky and earthy, touched by soft oak spice but never veering into caramel-heavy territory.

This is tequila for mezcal fans, bourbon drinkers, or anyone burned out on sugary, industrial “premium” bottlings. Certified additive-free, bottled at 43% ABV, and completely unadulterated, it shows what Reposado can be when made with care and restraint.

Perfect neat, in a spirit-forward cocktail like a reposado Old Fashioned, or alongside grilled meats, mole, or roasted vegetables.
