"Four Borders"—the vineyard sits where four municipalities meet in Tufo, at around 700 meters with full southern exposure. The Ferrara family has been in Tufo's lands for five centuries; Nunziante Ferrara planted the first vineyards in the 1860s and transported wine by donkey to sell to local osterie. The label launched in 1991. Fourth generation Gabriella and husband Sergio now lead; fifth generation Antonio and Lucia work in the winery. Oldest vines exceed 30 years. Hand-harvested end of October, 30 months in barriques.
