Palladino, Barolo Parafada, 2013

Parafada is one of Serralunga d'Alba's most envied vineyard sites—ideally exposed and sheltered, farmed to average vine age of 25 years. Palladino's traditional approach vinifies 100% Nebbiolo exclusively in large barrels with long, temperature-controlled fermentation. The 2013 shows underbrush, herb, and violet with ripe black cherry, velvety tannins, and the depth that distinguishes Barolo from this prestigious terroir.
