The 2011 came from a warm, ripe vintage, which rounds out the wine and brings its tannins forward into a softer, more approachable phase. It's drinking nicely now with a decant. Produttori only bottles these crus as Riserva in the years that merit it. A good place to taste how a balanced site behaves when the vintage runs generous.
