A magnum of Produttori del Barbaresco's Rabaja, one of the most prized crus in the whole appellation. Bordering both Asili and Muncagota, Rabaja blends finesse with extra richness from its warm south-west exposure, giving a complex, powerful, deeply structured Barbaresco. The 2008 is a classic, firmly built vintage, and in the slow-aging format of a 1.5L magnum it has matured gracefully while keeping plenty of grip and life. It's drinking in a lovely window now and will hold. From a private cellar. A serious bottle for a serious table.
