Acclivi is Burlotto's brilliant cru blend, drawing together the estate's best parcels in Verduno's Neirane, Rocche dell'Olmo, and Boscatto, plus declassified Monvigliero fruit. Verduno is the cool, perfumed northern corner of Barolo, and Burlotto are its most revered traditionalists, fermenting in large Slavonian oak botti the old way. The 2013 came from a classic, structured vintage built for the long haul, and at roughly a decade-plus it's entering a graceful window while keeping plenty in reserve. Decant if you open it now.
