Chateau Leoville-Barton, Saint-Julien, 2014

A classically balanced Saint-Julien blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, and 2% Cabernet Franc, matured 60% in new oak. This 2nd Grand Cru Classé wine displays crisp bouquet with graphite-tinged black fruit, hints of crushed flower and clove. The Barton family has owned this estate since Hugh Barton's purchase in 1826.
