Monvigliero, Verduno's most prestigious cru, from a 2013 vintage prized for classic structure and floral lift. Alessandria is one of the two great references for this perfumed hillside alongside Burlotto, making wine of clarity and poise that's transparent to its site. 2013 brought firmer structure than the gentle 2012, so this rewards a decant and still has aging upside even now.
