Chave Selections is the négociant arm of Jean-Louis Chave's operation — distinct from the legendary estate wines, made under the same family direction but drawn largely from purchased fruit and contracted parcels. The Hermitage Blanc bottling (often labeled "Blanche") sources mainly from the lieu-dit Maison Blanche atop the hill, blending Marsanne and Roussanne and aging two years in used barrels.
